EUROPE is the first unit of Subject Projects 2. Students will be ready to present their leaflet on a European country in a fortnight. That means that they will be finishing all the grammar exercises on spatial prepositions, as well as the contents related to the European Union member states in less than two weeks. At present, they are working on different aspects such as the location of these countries, their official language, the nationality adjectives, the climate, the most important cities in each country and some general facts, including, population, area, economy, unemployment rate and currency. In fact, most of the students have worked very hard just to learn all these countries and their nationality adjectives as they are having an exam next week! Good luck! Meanwhile, they can practise the location of the European countries once and again on the following site. http://www.yourchildlearns.com/online-atlas/european-union.htm If you want to learn more and have fun at the same time, click on "Secondary" first, which is on the right below "Primary", and then, go to "Maps of Europe / Online Atlas". where you can find a fun and educational map puzzle. Use it as a quiz to test your knowledge of the countries and capitals. The map puzzle helps in learning the location of the countries in Europe and their relation to other countries.
