A VISIT TO LONDON
I'm pretty sure that some of you are thinking on travelling to London on the following days! Being the largest urban zone in the European Union, London is a leading global city. It has been described as a world cultural capital and it is said that it is the world's most visited city. It is eventually one of the most popular holiday destinations. More than 300 languages are spoken in this historical city where you'll find a wealth of different cultures and communities throughout the capital. It is a world in one city which offers plenty of activities to have you amused.
There are many places you won't miss, such as Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official residence, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral, the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, the British Museum, London Eye, the Royal Opera House, and many other ones like Picadilly Circus, Kensington Gardens and Soho. The city of London also offers you a great variety of attractions which are free to visit, for example Tate Modern, the National Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Don't forget to visit Madame Tussauds, a wax museum full of realistic wax figures of celebrities, world leaders and sports stars.
You'll enjoy the lovely atmosphere in London's Covent Garden, Portobello Market and the original market of Camden Town, Hyde Park, and after seeing many of London's iconic attractions, you will walk along the River Thames to the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, which has one of Europe's largest collections of global marine life, including sharks, crocodiles, penguins and sea horses.
