END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR

Hi there!

I was just thinking of you all right now. No doubt you are trying to do your best in the last exams, and I thought that for the last entry of this blog, a song by The Beatles could be nice to hear and I'm pretty sure that for many of you it will be an inspiration for a reflective writing.  Ready to wrap up the end of this school year with an inspirational reflection?

"IN MY LIFE" BY THE BEATLES

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

  • I do hope you enjoy it! It would be great if you try to write down some of your memories in your diary book!

  • YOU COULD USE THESE PROMPTS TO WRITE YOUR OWN REFLECTIVE WRITING:

  • What are you best memories of the school year?
  • What will stick with you from this school year?
  • How have you changed this year?  How are you different?

  • I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME DURING YOUR SUMMER HOLIDAYS!

Enjoy yourself with English!     :)     A warm hug from Alice!
