Be a touch realistic! You cannot climb the Everest without training at all! Secondly, don't waste time and feel confident and passionate about what you do if you are hoping for things to change! Let yourself be free, and brainstorm as many things you could do this month. And finally, focus on the things you would like to change in the future and make them happen!

Its really interesting how people think about these numbers and how it affects them. For me there is no wrong or right answer... In my opinion, I see these numbers as a sign of something. October 19th is the BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY! This is the day for the "think pink"! Wearing pink means supporting breast cancer awareness.
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One in eight women still face a diagnosis of breast cancer. Most advanced breast cancer cases are found in women over age 50. It’s hard to smile when faced with such a disease! Although new, improved treatments are helping many women with breast cancer live longer than ever before, there is still a high risk for breast cancer death; prevention in women aged 35 is nowadays, highly recommended. It is said that lifestyle changes can prevent breast cancer. The best advice is to eat a well-balanced diet and avoid focusing on one "cancer-fighting" food. It is important to remember that the climate of the Earth is not static – it has changed many times in response to a variety of natural causes. Scientists estimate that the Earth has warmed by 0.74°C over the last hundred years. About 0.4°C of this warming has occurred since the 1970s.

The main way that humans have changed the climate is through the emission of key greenhouse gases, namely: carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and nitrous oxide. The collection of these gases in the Earth’s atmosphere dramatically increases the greenhouse effect. Some statistics state that at the moment seven billion tonnes of CO2 are emitted globally each year through the use of fossil fuels. There is an additional 1.6 billion tonnes emitted through changing land use – mainly deforestation."

“We had a very good time at the weekend!
It is good to feel like this and remember how it was at the beginning; We had a great chance to spend the whole day with two of our friends, who were considering to spend a few days more here with us and they also talked about coming back next summer. We enjoyed chatting, going for a walk and swimming on the beach. Furthermore, we had such a good weather that we decided to walk along the malecon after having a coffee in one of the bars at the seafront. So it was pretty much to have that fantastic view in front of us.. It's great for us to know that our friends had fun. Okay, I'll tell you about my plans for tomorrow and I hope you will do the same!
As it always happens in the beginning of a new course 'planning' takes a relevant place and 'everything' becomes an aim itself. From the very beginning, we expect the others to plan whatever can be planned in order to reach the objectives we want to achieve, but we must be careful. Even if we try hard and make an effort to keep everything under control, it can be difficult. Furthermore, we know it can be impossible to reach all the aims at first. Our purpose should be a careful purpose from the start, the one that could eventually fulfil our needs because we don't like failing, in fact, we don't want to fail.
Well, now that we have talked a little bit about planning, will you, please, tell me about your plans for tomorrow?
These are mine; I'm going to work hard tomorrow and I'm going to listen to my colleagues and cooperate with them in whatever they need. Moreover, I'm going to design plans for the whole trimester and I'm going to arrange when to meet and what to do step by step.

There are souls in this world which have the gift of finding joy everywhere and of leaving it behind them when they go. That is really the attitude of the positive ones. If we want to change our life, we should change our mind.
Attitudes are mirrors of the mind. They reflect thinking. A positive attitude can really make dreams come true.
"The mind is everything; What we think, we become."
We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon. In fact, the pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity; the optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. The only difference between a good day and a bad day is our attitude. Let's enjoy the little things, for one day we may look back and realize they were the big things.
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
Happiness is also an attitude. "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." "Anywhere is paradise; it's up to you."
Remember that every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day. If we don't like something, let's change it; if we can't change it, let's change the way we think about it. For example, smile when it hurts most. This is something that always helps.
For success, attitude is equally as important as ability. Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude.
For all that, I have learned that a positive attitude always helps. I am one of those people who consider happiness an art of living. Remember this Chinese proverb that says,

FIESTA on the seventh of July!!!

The Saint Fermin Festival starts at 12:00 noon on the 6th of July with the launching of the rocket from a city hall balcony. This, which is called txupinazo by the Basques, is one of the most typical events of the Sanfermines when thousands of people celebrate the opening of The Fiesta in the city hall square and other places in Pamplona.
On the seventh of July the Fiesta runs along the streets in the old part of Pamplona when lots of people and dancers following the rhythm of traditional music and street entertainers, such as the Giants and Big-heads and different political and religious authorities accompany the statue of the Saint.
There are exhibitions and competitions during the Festival which ends in the Townhall Square at midnight on the 14th of July with the singing of the traditional "Pobre de Mí" ('Poor Me'). Meanwhile, the most important event is the running of the bulls. The event begins at 8 a.m. when thousands of people run in front of six bulls and another six steers along some narrow streets in the old town of Pamplona reaching the Pamplona's bullring after two or three minutes. This traditional run is held between the 7th and the 14th. Lots of people are injured during the run mostly due to falls.
Every afternoon, at 18:30, there is a bullfight in which trained bullfighters give an extraordinary spectacle in which the 6 bulls that have been driven to the bullring during the bullrunning of that day are killed.
A fireworks display takes place every night in Sanfermin to say goodbye to the day!!!

I was walking along the beach at 8:30 p.m. when I met a friend of mine. We kissed each other, and then, she invited me to have a drink together. I accepted. I liked the idea and it wasn't late. I could feel the nice breeze that cooled my face and the sound of breaking waves at the back inviting me to relax. It seemed to me that there was some magic in the atmosphere.
There were many free tables on the beachfront at Charlie's. I sat at one of them, and my friend stood up for a while staring out at the dark horizon. Suddenly, she talked to me about her life. After a short while, she struck up an interesting conversation about the volcano that had expelled large quantities of dust into the atmosphere. Sometimes volcanoes could have an eruption shortly before an eclipse. She asked me about the eclipse that was announced for 10:15 p.m. I said that I had heard something about it and that it was a total lunar eclipse. In fact, it was just ready to happen. It wouldn't last for long, not longer than a couple of hours. And we were there, in a nice place at the right moment. The eclipse was supposed to be visible from many places over Europe. In some continents such as South America, it would be seen after sunset, and in some other ones like Africa, Asia, and Australia, it could be seen before sunrise. Incredible!!! My friend told me a little bit about solar and lunar eclipses. She said that the last lunar eclipse had recently occurred. It happened on the 21st of December, 2010. She told me that every year there were at least two lunar eclipses, although total lunar eclipses were less common. I was very surprised at the idea of watching a total lunar eclipse from the place I was sitting, but the sky wasn't so clear as we would expect it to be. In a few hours I would be staring out at the eclipse, and the Moon would be surprisingly dark.
It was pretty funny, anyway. I enjoyed being with my friend until late!!!

A GREAT SUCCESS!!!

Highly successful was the festival held in the playground of Salbatore Mitxelena ikastola last Saturday evening. There were masses of people watching the children's musical performances which were certainly gorgeous. Hundreds of parents visited the exhibition that the teachers organized for the display of their pupils' projects. They had fun while doing so even if it took hours to arrange the whole thing. They surely enjoyed the pleasant and nice atmosphere. Very hot, indeed.
In fact, everybody had a great time on June 4th! Not only did the students who worked very hard to help out with the food for the party, but also the ones who spent the whole afternoon selling the new T-shirts. Thanks to all the people who kindly joined us and got involved in the activities. Thanks to the ones who offered themselves to cook dinner and helped to get everything ready, as well as the ones who took part in the cleaning.
It was a great success!!! All the performances that took place that night were a howling success. The weather helped, too.

We will be finishing this school term by the third week of June this year. Just a few days later than the previous year. All the students will be taking most of their exams by the end of May and some exams will be done during the first fortnight of June. To show you the work done our gorgeous artists' handicrafts will be on exhibition on the 4th of June. Our students will be ready to show their work, specially their compilation of magnificent projects and arts & crafts made throughout the school year.
We will be celebrating a party as well. We hope the weather will help on that special day so that we all would have a great time, enjoying ourselves as much as possible. It won't be easy to arrange everything perfectly well, but we are very lucky indeed as many parents are now involved in the planning. If you want to take part organizing an event, you are invited to do so. Don't miss the opportunity to spend a nice day and come along!!!

A FAIRY TALE

Fairy tales are one of the best ways of entertaining children of all ages. Magical spells, enchantments, curses, wicked witches with special gifts, and some other attractive elements have lured both children's and adults' attention.
How many times did I read the fairy tales of brothers Grimm in my childhood? The stories of Hansel and Grethel, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Little Snow-White, Bluebeard, The Four Musicians of Bremen, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, and many of the most well-known fairy tales made my childhood an enchanted forest full of myths and fairies. I still love reading them!
By the way, have you ever thought of having a chance to change your world into a fairy world? It may sound surreal, but wouldn't it be fantastic to become one of the most loving fantasy beings ever dreamt? You could live in a magical world where earth spirits, such as elves, gnomes, fairies or ladies with incredible powers, and some other creatures like nymphs, mermaids, goblins or even trolls would make you visit an amazing world filled with golden flashes in the night or surrounded by magical fire in the sunlight. Wouldn't it be nice to have fun and leave your imagination as free as it was in your childhood? Even if there won't be a chance to do so, let us consider that possibility!

WHEN I LEAVE THIS WORLD

What should I expect? It's just a question that comes into my mind once and again!!! I haven't given any convincing explanations to myself and still had no responses to the matter itself! I need an answer right now, and somehow, it's taking too long!
Now that I feel that everything happens for a reason and that there is a reason for everything, I wonder whether I did the right thing when I had to make some important decisions during my life or, by the contrary, I made some mistakes! I know for sure that I indeed did what I had to do in some of the most difficult moments in my life, my younger sister's death, for instance. I'm particularly proud of my attitude towards her!!! Now, I'm wondering about all that! What will I find when I leave this world?
However, life is too short to care about nonsense. I should have noticed it some time ago. It seems to me that it is a bit late for complaining, though! I'm quite concerned about life itself.
Teaching has been my life as I have already spent 25 years of my life doing the most enjoyable thing, that is teaching, of course! What I have done is what really matters and what worries me is what I could have done in a particular time but I couldn't do due to different motives. Wouldn't it be nice to know more about life after death? I can see myself having coffee with my loving sister!
I wish I could do it! In her loving memory,... Cheers!!!

A BUSY LIFE!

Back home and back to work!!! The truth is that we need to cope with this sort of busy life. We try to get on well with our daily routine, achieving extraordinary vitality from very early in the morning, taking care of our health day and night, and consuming all kind of products to improve our physical fitness during the whole week, exercising every day if possible, to join the fitness revolution at the end!!!
But we don't pay special attention to save time for having good relationships with others. Friendship is what makes our life richer. We need to improve our personal situation and enjoy life with our family, friends, and colleagues, anyway. That is what we all intend to do after work, spend some time together! Sure there are lots of things we want to do after a busy day! The excuse is always "the lack of time." That is what we all need, more time!!!

If I were in the dark, I could not see which way to go!!!
Trying to get myself away from this very moment of unkind sadness, I found a popular English nursery rhyme which seems to be quite helpful after all. It's obviously worth it, anyway. I must say that I really like it. It's not only because it implies something positive but also because it makes me think of the way ahead when there is trouble. It shows me how grateful it is to find good things in the dark. It is always very pleasant to hear it!!! I hope you like it too!!!

Now that Easter holiday is here I'm ready for a break.
Have you decided where you are going for your Easter holidays? Actually, I was looking forward to visiting some nice places in France, lovely towns with their magnificent buildings, beautiful medieval houses and lovely churches. So, I asked about some interesting sites and I found what I was looking for. The first thing that came into my mind was to take good care of myself. A massage, for instance. My tired muscles needed a good massage and I thought it would be great. A nice atmosphere to relax would help, anyway. So, I arranged it! It's the perfect way to start a vacation, I thought. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a pleasant vacation. As I get two weeks off school at Easter, I'm planning to do what I cannot do in working days, the things I love doing in my spare time. They help me feel happy. That is what I intend to do, be happy! I recommend you trying it and doing so!
Don't let anything cause you any harm! Remember that life is the only treasure to hunt. There are always hundreds of precious stones around us and let me remind you that you are one of them! For many reasons! ...just one? Because you are gorgeous and you always care. Thanks for being there!

It's time to look forward and try to do your best without having any doubts. That is what you told me after mentioning that we live in a tough world and that work and social pressures can get to the best of us, but sometimes though, what helps us is just to know that someone cares.

From now on everything has a different meaning. A simple thought can transform us and make us reflect upon existence. Someone said that our thoughts are the shadows of our feelings. Evil thoughts or pure thoughts. It depends of their nature, that is what actually makes the difference. Our thoughts can somehow change our world. Friedich Nietzsche said,
"I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you."
It is that kind of thought that hurts. Indeed, it causes emotional pain.
Even if I don't like the idea, I must recognise that everything depends on the way we see things and the importance we attach to them.
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
In fact, we are attacked by ideas and thoughts that build up our personal world. It is within the natural condition of life. There is always a thought that leads to reflection.

BULLYING

Today is Friday 11th March, 2011. It seems to be a very special day. In fact, it is a very special date! See what I found when I was reading a very popular American newspaper,
"President Barack Obama told a White House conference on school bullying that he, too, was a victim of childhood taunting.
"I have to say that with big ears and the name that I have, I was not immune. I did not emerge unscathed," Obama said.

The President said that adults have often assumed that bullying was a fairly benign childhood rite of passage but, in truth, the destructive psychological effects of bullying can linger into adulthood.

He said: "Sometimes we overlook the real damage that bullying can do, especially when young people face harassment day after day, week after week."

In the past few years, a number of teenage children in the United States have committed suicide following prolonged bullying. Obama reminded the White House conference that bullying is no longer limited to schools, but may extend to aggressive texting of a child's mobile phone or home computer."

Bullying can occur in any context, including school, workplace, neighbourhoods, etc, and it means "abuse". It is always a negative act which involves intimidation and it consists of three basic types of abuse – emotional, verbal and physical.

School bullying refers to peer abuse and it implies systematic persecution and irritating classmates persistently. One student or a group can bully another student or a group of students. It can be quite annoying. School regulations have now implemented laws to prevent bullying. These programs called "anti-bullying campaigns "can be effective. In many educational institutions, these programs usually focus on increasing awareness and supervision, establishing clear rules, and providing support and protection for victims. But, there is another bad practice that can be as harmful as school bullying, and that is Cyber-bullying.

Cyber-bullying occurs when someone bullies through the Internet, mobile phones or other electronic means, including sending mean-spirited text, e-mail, or instant messages; posting inappropriate pictures or messages about others in blogs or on web sites; using someone else's user name to spread rumors or lies about someone. All this implies a hostile behaviour intending to harm others which may cause psycological injury. It affects not only the bullied but also his friends and classmates, as well as his relatives and the whole society.

Anti-bullying programs are designed to teach students cooperation, as well as training peer moderators in intervention and dispute resolution techniques, as a form of peer support. Our attitude can be essential for the solution to the problem itself. We can do our best while dealing with it!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

"Women should have equal political, social, sexual, intellectual and economic rights to men." This is what I read this morning on an article referring to "International Women’s Day on March 8." In fact, IWD is the day for women to be considered a human being having equal rights to men. It may sound "pretty feminist", but let me tell you that it is not that much. Women got important economic, political and social achievements in the past and they are now doing their best being in charge of important positions such as presidents, prime ministers, council officials, counsellors, etc, in mostly all the countries in the world. Anyway, there's no denying that there has been a great attitudinal change in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation in the last century. Since "feminism" has been a globally successful management to ensure that women's equality is nowadays being maintained in all aspects of life, I believe that the concept that many people had about feminists in the past seems to have lost its primary negative meaning, in other words, it has almost vanished into thin air in the present time. The following quotation may be a good example of the reasons given and mentioned on several occasions by women who believed in "feminism" or in any kind of women's liberation movement.
"Because women’s work is never done and is underpaid or unpaid or boring or repetitious and we’re the first to get fired and what we look like is more important than what we do and if we get raped it’s our fault and if we get beaten we must have provoked it and if we raise our voices we’re nagging bitches and if we enjoy sex we’re nymphos and if we don’t we’re frigid and if we love women it’s because we can’t get a “real” man and if we ask our doctor too many questions we’re neurotic and/or pushy and if we expect childcare we’re selfish and if we stand up for our rights we’re aggressive and “unfeminine” and if we don’t we’re typical weak females and if we want to get married we’re out to trap a man and if we don’t we’re unnatural and because we still can’t get an adequate safe contraceptive but men can walk on the moon and if we can’t cope or don’t want a pregnancy we’re made to feel guilty about abortion and…for lots of other reasons we are part of the women’s liberation movement.

How do you see things when you are happy? And when you are sad?
Emotions are complex. They are related to your mood. You can be in a good mood or in a bad mood. Sometimes it looks like you feel well, but you may experience an affective change in your life which may imply some attitudinal changes. In that case, you try to control your emotional expressions in some ways but it can be quite difficult.
Negative emotions don't help at all. Everybody knows that. Experiencing negative emotions can lead to a physically unhealthy situation. However, positive emotions are more healthy. Optimism simply means expecting positive outcomes and it helps you feeling well and makes you face problems head-on when trying to solve them. It gives you some stability that pessimists don't have. Since you perceive things positively, your health is better. Be optimist, then! It's simply a style!!!

"Fall of the leaf", "Fall of the year." Autumn is also known as Fall, the season of the year between Summer and Winter, when fruits and crops are picked and leaves fall. WORKING HARD AND ENJOYING AT THE SAME TIME!

Is that possible? Of course, it is!!! Students at secondary school are now working very hard trying to learn all the countries in the European Union. Some of them have already learnt them by heart! But what is more interesting is the way they have done it. They have been playing online through some interactive maps and enjoying themselves while they were learning!!! Now, most of them can manage quite well to locate the member states of the European Union. Congratulations to you all and go on doing your best!!!
Students at third form fancy searching the Internet to get information about other cultures as well as reading interesting facts on manners & etiquette, the way people behave in other countries and the differences and similarities among them. They will be ready to present their projects to their classmates in a couple of weeks.
So, it seems to me that the first unit of each project has actively involved students in learning so that everybody is having fun with English and working hard from the very beginning. It's nice to see them sharing information, working together, learning and enjoying at the same time!!!

Hi, everybody!
It's time to start the new course! In fact, most of you have already planned the first week in order to deal successfully with the beginning of this new course.
I'm pretty sure all of you are going to try to do your best in English, trying hard in Subject Projects as well as in the rest of the school subjects. It is going to be quite interesting to work on the English projects for Secondary. Subject Projects will actively involve you in learning about a specific subject!
In Secondary, 1st grade, the first unit is great and it is called "What's Music?". It is all about music, instruments, different genres or styles, famous composers and people in Music, including number-one hits and the history of Music. You will be doing plenty of different activities while reviewing all the grammar constructions and the vocabulary seen in the unit from the very beginning. You will be asked to carry out a nice project and eventually, by the end of the first trimester you will be talking about how much you learnt and that you really enjoyed yourself practising English, learning new contents and improving your writing skills.
In Secondary, 2nd grade, the first unit is called "Europe" which refers to the member states of the European Union and involves learning about countries, nationalities, capital cities, popular places, famous people, the weather and the climate in Europe as well as interesting facts of the European Community. The project will be the design of a leaflet featuring a country which will be presented and explained to the rest of the class.
In Secondary, 3rd grade, students will be working on different cultures. This first unit which is called "Culture shock" is very interesting indeed!!! They are going to enjoy it a lot!!! The SSLIC project will present them a set of different activities to learn more about other cultures. At the end they will be asked to write an essay about the cultural differences and similarities among the Basque country and some other countries.
Students at Secondary, 4th grade will continue with the contents presented on the SSLIC programme. So, this time they will be working on some historical events that happened along history. The unit is called "What happened when I was born." In fact, the aim is to find out and report about the historical events that occurred on the same day the students were born. This time they will be given different texts in order to learn through them. Finally, they will try to do their best writing a composition on the theme!!!

Moreover, it gives you the opportunity to obtain any kind of information from the Internet in a fraction of a second reaching, for instance, to a huge number of interesting sites as well as scanning through a thousand practical resources. Everything is on the Web.
Due to these important innovations in current mobile computing technology with educational aims, everybody can easily get virtual teaching from the Net providing useful information which obviously encourages active and specific learning.
Teachers are nowadays more concerned about their students’ needs. In fact, we have already integrated new technologies into our students’ learning experience. An innovative project that focuses on each student's personal development has been tried and tested and it is now being used in our school as well as in many other Basque schools. This project called Ikasys is defined as a multilingual system that provides support for the whole cycle of memorization and exercitation activities in a wide range of domains. It offers students a chance to get actively involved in their own learning process. It is not only a new way for students to enhance cognitive skills, but it is also a very useful tool to get valuable benefits and it can be used for a variety of educational purposes drawing special attention to the needs of all the students. The teacher can define different learning rhythm for each student considering the level of difficulty of each task, the progress of the learner, and some other aspects too.
Last year I had the opportunity to take part in this project as a designer and, of course, I'm very proud to have been involved in it. Personally, I think it will soon be a great success!!! So that is why I'm sure that students will be effectively and innovatively taught in the near future. As a teacher, I have a responsability to teach my students in a way that learning and enjoyment are both involved. If they enjoy the subject, they can develop their own skills by practising them once and again. Furthermore, students may become used to the usage of new learning strategies and eventually critical thinking may be developed so that they will make their own decisions and will be more independent in the future. Who knows?
A new era is ahead of us, anyway!!!

Little Things Can Make A Big Difference!!!

Especially when you are interested in doing your best!!! Every moment is special, a gift for you and for the ones you most love. The present moment is really important to show them the loving human beings they are and that it is so wonderful for you to have such good friends and how well you feel with them!!! When you realize that you are like a butterfly flittering from one flower to another trying to keep in touch with everyone, wishing they enjoy every single moment as you want them to feel comfortable, to have fun, to be happy in the end... You notice that it makes the quality of your personal relationships, that's the difference!!!
Your life takes sense. It is a joy to enjoy a couple of hours chatting around a cup of coffee with those wonderful people who just express their gratitude with a nice smile. Or for instance, telling your mum to relax a little bit because you will do the housework for her, may somehow help and that could be a real gift for her and just a little thing for you!!! Inviting somebody for dinner would be great!!! Or maybe going for a walk in the evening when the sun goes down so that you can enjoy an unforgettable sunset! It can be spectacular!!! If you are thinking of calling somebody, do it! Don't leave it for another day! Try to do it now!!! It won't be the same otherwise!!! Those little things make your life more enjoyable!!!

Shyness is a natural part of your first time. The way you feel when you are doing something for the first time is really important. There is always a first time for everything! It can be a difficult thing without any advice or any help and if it doesn't happen as you would like it to be, don't worry! You might have listened to many of your friends talking about their first time whenever they have been looking for a job, or taking a new course, or going abroad, or taking part in an important event, or going on a date, or even kissing someone,... so that they are able to speak about their own experience, describing their feelings and emotions. Everybody has gone through the same worries on their first time. So, try not to worry and get enough confidence to reach your aim. Don't let nerves ruin your first time! Go ahead and be positive getting yourself in the right frame of mind!!!

You may think that nobody cares of you, but you're wrong!!! Your lack of self-confidence doesn't help at all. To reach your goals in this life, you should believe in yourself. That is one of the best ways I know to be successful, to get your personal aims. Try to involve in what you do, try to be more active, promise yourself that no matter how difficult the problem is, you will try as hard as you can. Make the most of yourself! Optimism is simply a style!!! It affects positively in your health and helps you to face problems easily. Your self-esteem needs to be repaired. Your attitude needs a change, for instance. It's only to show your own ability. That's my opinion! Yours is important, of course! It matters!
I'm here to suggest that you take the happy face of life, the positive side. I am trying to help you. I'm giving you some advice, a practical recommendation. You ought to build confidence. You should go on and do your best! Any change of scene? Let me know if it happens! I personally think that something has changed. I know that you have made a significant progress so far! I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter. As you may know, June 21st can be considered a great day for everyone as the summer season has just started. We don't often realise how lucky we are.
Eventually, summer is here. Hurray! That´s really great!
We were looking forward to having good weather! We have had heavy rain for the last two weeks and it´s been quite hard for everyone to wake up early in the morning and get caught in pouring rain. But that´s all gone! The weather forecast seems to be as optimistic as me so that the sun will be shining at least for a couple of days. Good news,then!
I would say that this holiday season has begun as everyone expected, sunny, warm and nice! We needed it, just to be in the mood for sitting in the sun. Remember that summer is a great season for families to stay together doing any type of outdoor activities and enjoy themselves playing whatever game they like best. There are many ways to spend time together and save money over the summer!!! Remember that it is also a great time to keep in touch with friends. I found a nice quotation about friends, and of course, I'll post it for you because I love it! So, here it goes, for you, my loving friend,

Learning involves trying once and again!!! People learn by imitation, observing other people's behaviour and repeating what they do in order to improve themselves. By doing so, the learning process takes great relevance as people acquire values as well as behaviours that are standardised in their culture. When having similar interests, people often share their own experience, exchange viewpoints so that they can enjoy themselves a lot. People need to use different tecniques to learn. Study skills are one of them, abilities which are considered essential as well as useful for learning any subjects. One of the best ways to acquire knowledge is to be motivated. In that case, learning becomes a game, and if the environment is the appropriate, the results may be highly successful. Shall I invite you to try hard and do your best? But, the course will reach to its end by June, 22nd. By the way, I know that your birthday is in June! It's getting closer, then!!! I should sing 'Happy birthday' to you. But, I will tell you some kind words instead. Did you know that a friend loves at all times. You've always been a great friend and I love you for it! That's why I would like to tell you that it's great to have somebody like you who is always ready to help, who cares a lot about me and my everyday's troubles, who always tells me a kind word and who shares with me hundreds of wonderful moments. I am glad it is Friday. I hope we all can relax a bit during the weekend. This issue has driven me mad. I bet you it has been quite hard for you as well as for a large majority of your classmates to deal with so much pressure. As far as I know, most of you have felt the same way. It's quite reasonable.
Doing the right thing is not easy, anyway. Before making such important decision, there is a little room for doubt. But, it can let us to make a mistake! That's why I invite you to do your best!!!
So, just for the reason mentioned at the very beginning, I will try to look forward to having some fun at the weekend.
Indeed, I need it!!!
It will be nice to take care of myself for a little while.
What about you? You should think about your teacher’s advice. You need to take a lot of factors into account to make a decision, don’t you? And you want to be sure to make a good choice. Let me tell you that you have a good opportunity now, I'm not joking, your decision has to be a serious one, of course. Maybe this post can help you a little bit. Sometimes we have to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop deciding with our mind what we want our heart to feel, stop trying to figure out precisely how we feel and what could be better for us,… Sometimes we just have to go with… because whatever happens, happens…, and we should know it anyway!
Due to the fact that you don't know exactly what to do, you could write down the advantages and the disadvantages of each choice. That will make it easier! May is likely to be very special this year!!! You'll be celebrating quite a few things by the end of it. Some of them might have been appearing in your dreams once and again! It would be great to reach your aims, anyway!!! I hope your dreams will come true. Try hard and you will get whatever you desire!
About the beginning of this month, it seems that many people expected it to be warm and nice weather, but the weather forecasts for the first days of May were quite bad news! That's why strong winds and heavy rains accompanied by low temperatures turned my attitude from being in a good mood, rather enthusiastic, like a kid in a candy store, to have a really bad temper, particurlarly in the afternoon after correcting loads of exams. As I expected, it was actually some sort of unusual work, not only because it could be the last possibility for many students since the last term seemed close to its end, but it also became hard work after several hours of brain training. So, I changed my mind, I took it easy and decided to go step by step.

MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND!

Now that the last term is nearly over, you have to make a decision for the immediate future according to the qualities you have. You should know what subject you are good at and, of course, which one you like best. If you haven't decided yet, let me tell you something important, to use your initiative, that is to say that you should use your own judgement. I believe that you are able to decide by yourself!!!
In case you have doubts, you had better listen to your teacher's proposals. Your tutor is the one that will certainly recommend you to make an effort in order to get your best degrees, your best qualifications to end this course. Whatever you want to do will be easy to get if you try hard.
Remember what I wrote on the previous post a couple of weeks ago, something that you should not forget about. Here it is,

ENJOY YOURSELF AT EASTER!
Remember you get two weeks off school at Easter!!! You'll likely celebrate Easter in a very special way. Probably going away, travelling to nice, beautiful, interesting places, or just sleeping, relaxing or doing nothing at all, instead! Anyway, you should charge up your batteries in order to come back to school full of energy and enthusiasm!
Even if you don't have any religious beliefs, we warmly invite you to have a look at the traditional festivals held during Easter, which is considered to be the most important celebration within Christianity. Good Friday is one of the most significant days, which is the time that Jesus is believed to have died and Easter Sunday is when the resurrection of Jesus Christ is said to have taken place and it is also the end of the Holy week and the Lenten season. Probably you are visiting some cities where Easter is specially celebrated, so don't forget to buy the typical Easter eggs. Bring some to school, please! We'll be very pleased! Have fun!!!!

Usually, we fall in love with a person that we find attractive and appropriate for us, but also someone who demonstrates that they are attracted to us. There are many emotions associated with love, but when you have fallen in love, there is only one that is the best of all and that is happiness. Love makes you feel special. It is like a never ending story. When you are with the person you love it makes you feel so happy that you need to be romantic, creative and sincere. You won't forget to say "I love you" in a meaningful way. It can be special at any time. The best way to express someone your love is not only by saying nice words, loving words, including "Remember that I'll always be in love with you" or some other ones like "Keep all my love forever, honey", but also by demonstrating it by actions like expressing affection, being kind and pleasant, sharing true feelings, caring and treating your treasure gently, being romantic, kissing him or her. Just being as warm as colourful, spring is the most spectacular season of all in which each field is clothed with green grass and sweet flowers. It's spring fever that makes you fall in love. I'm sure that you know this nice quotation about spring written by one of the greatest writers of all times:

I believe that spring is like a symphony, a nice melody dancing in harmony through perfect movements. The best feelings appear at the same time. Love is one of them and it is all around. I really believe that there is nothing better than love. The sensation of being loved and held by someone who loves you too. It's such a strong feeling that can even change your life. It makes you feel great, helps you work through pain, gives you enjoyment, strength and good emotions, nice sensations in the end.
So, don't be afraid of love! Love as many people as you can, friends, lovers, companionship, mates, relatives, and, of course, love yourself anywhere, at any time!

Carnival is a celebration of music and dance held annually before Lent, usually during January and February. Lent begins exactly four weeks before Easter. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent. Carnival is a time filled with local traditions so the entire region enjoys much higher than usual with traditional food, popular music and organized events. Many cities and regions worldwide celebrate this festival with nice, interesting and popular events. That is why Carnival is considered to be a GREAT FESTIVE SEASON. It eventually involves a celebration, a parade or a street party including a masque or costumed public parties in which people dress up in colourful clothes to camouflage their identity so that they can enjoy themselves all day long, taking part in dance troupes, costume parades or masked processions! It may run three days culminating in a carnival parade on fat Tuesday. In some places it may last a week attracting the participation of a large number of tourists. Parties are open air and people usually dance along the streets where free events are organised everywhere. It is great fun!

As we all know, the September start is always a busy one with worries for everyone. Most students need to care about getting their new materials on time as well as managing to come through their daily routine without failing in the attempt. However, we have got off to a flying start with a tremendously strong team of teachers and a bunch of exceptional students in all the classrooms. For many of them it can be quite easy, but a few of them may get a wrong idea from the very beginning. We will give them a time limit. We know from experience that being ready for everything is vital when starting a course. As soon as they get started, the contents themselves will make them get involved in the hope of assimilating everything. Most of them will notice it in a split second so they will be pretty sure of themselves and they will pass their exams successfully. That is the reason why we recommend you to have fun this term before the exams. You should click on the topic called Fun with English and on the one called Listening activity which are on the right-hand side of the screen. You will improve your English knowledge and enjoy yourself with English at the same time. Have a go!
